Our 1/2 Sleepover

How fun was last night! We had a 1/2 sleepover for the girls in Emma's class, 10 of them, plus Molly.
This is how my schedule read:
3-4pm Play on playground
4-4:45 Make Fairy Crowns
4:45-5:10 Make pizzas
5:10-5:30 Color "frames" while pizzas cook
5:30-6:00 Eat
6:00-6:30 Decorate cookies
6:30-7:15 Dance and Karaoke
7:15-9:00 Watch Herbie Fully Loaded
This is how the schedule went:
2:50 While Pete was on his way to get some guests, the power went out
3:00-4:00 Girls played inside because of rain
4:00-4:20 Made Fairy Crowns, but not all wanted to
4:20-4:45 More playing
4:45-5:00 Make pizzas
5:00 Some coloring, more playing
5:20 Ate
5:30 Decorate cookies
5:31 I said to Pete "We are way ahead of schedule"
So they played more and at 6:30 we had our own American Idol. We could tell who watches it. Like one little girl impersonated Randy "yo, yo you are headed to the dog pound, dog", and when another wasn't doing Simon just right, she said "Okay I'm Simon : 'yeah, that was just bad' "
They got bored with Herbie and started a pillow fight. Now you know we are very easy going, but I was scared someone was going to get hurt especially since they were using our rather heavy sofa cushions.
They were soooo cute! Nothing got broken, noone got hurt. The party was a success.
